First as a accountant\/financial analyst in financial services and secondly as a high school math teacher. I enjoy most sports including pickleball and football. I feel that students need to understand concepts over rote formulas and be able to be comfortable with key definitions and math vocabulary. Test results are an important tool to be able to go back and see where misunderstandings occur. I feel that my strengths are in communicating key math concepts, and an understanding of the specifics of both the curriculum and on the appropriate standardized tests. Additional strengths include making it relevant to outside interests.
