I like to get to know students. I like to connect with them a few minutes at the beginning of each session. It sets a nice tone for the session time. I have an idea about what kind of mood the child is in. It helps me know how to go about the session time. It does make a difference in the approach for the session. I am a special education teacher but my passion is being a Reading Therapist.
