If a student is already struggling they start off feeling defeated, so I like to shine a light to what their strengths are and move forward with that. My main goal is to help a student who is struggling feel confident in their work and progress. Creating a strong relationship is key. Getting to know the students and their interest help build the relationship so they feel safe and will be more invested in what we are working on.
