Prior to switching careers to become a teacher, I was a chemical engineer for a Fortune 100 manufacturing company. I have always loved math and science, and I enjoy being able to share my love of math with students every day. \n     As a secondary education teacher, I strongly believe that fostering critical thinking skills is at the heart of what we do in education. I am committed to giving students the tools they need to see their own value, analyze information and situations, and effectively solve problems.  \n     I see my role as not only helping them work through their questions but encouraging students to problem solve and to use what they know to work through the problems.
