From there I worked in public schools, including a number of the largest school districts in my state, to a number of small districts as well. I have taught in urban, suburban, and rural areas. As my own family grew, I chose to take a step away from formally teaching and focus on teaching within my own home. Here I have taught my own children for the past 5 years. I continue to work with youth through volunteer programs, church events, and other community programs.
