Goals will be different with every student. Some will need academic goals only, some might need help with organizing, and others might need help with creativity or critical thinking. My goal is to determine where each kid is at for that day, and go from there. For tutoring sessions to be the most beneficial I think it will be important to make students feel seen and understood. My goal is to make them realize they aren't struggling to learn alone.
